Today I represent FH Aachen’s research at the IMechE Stephenson Conference 2017 – with an overview of Wagon 4.0. The spirits are really enthusiastic, so this optimistic view on the future of rail freight appears to be quite right.

Today I gave a presentation on the potential for use of acceleration data to obtain braking curves and their uncertainty. This may prove especially useful for freight trains, however it can be used on any type of train.
